How Ipam works

Ipamorelin is a selective growth hormone releasing peptide — a pentapeptide that binds the ghrelin receptor and prompts the pituitary to release a pulse of growth hormone.

Selectivity is the point. Older GHRPs also raise cortisol and prolactin, which is precisely what people running them are trying to avoid. Ipamorelin's research profile shows GH release without that spill-over, which is why it is described as the clean option in the category.

Because GH release is naturally pulsatile and largely nocturnal, protocols in the literature tend to dose in cycles — commonly eight to twelve weeks, five days on and two off — rather than continuously.

Does Ipamorelin raise cortisol?
Its selectivity is the reason it is used: unlike earlier growth hormone releasing peptides, research shows GH release without meaningful cortisol or prolactin elevation.
How long before anything is noticeable?
Research protocols run in eight-to-twelve-week cycles. Sleep quality is typically the first thing users report; body-composition change is a slower, cumulative effect.
Do I need a pen for this?
