Pens, cartridges and clicks: choosing your starter setup
Reusable pen or disposable? What a click actually measures, how many needles you need, and how to run the fridge-to-handbag routine without fuss.

A cartridge cannot be used on its own — it needs a pen. There are only two decisions to make, and both are reversible.
Reusable or disposable
The Quick Starter is the one most people choose: a quiet reusable pen, an insulated case for the fridge-to-handbag run, and the needles to match. R350, and it outlives every cartridge you put through it.
The disposable pen is the simpler answer for a single protocol — pre-loaded, used, discarded. No cleaning, no case.
What a click measures
Dosing is by click rather than by eye. Each click is a fixed increment on the dial, so a protocol becomes a number you can count rather than a line you have to squint at. Every product page in the library carries its own click schedule.

Cold chain, briefly
Cartridges travel in an insulated mailer with a cold pack and go out Monday to Saturday, with a Saturday cut-off so nothing sits in a depot over a Sunday. Full detail on the shipping page.
